Babies, miracles, and sacrifice often go together when those who have been trying desperately to bring a child into this world, be it through the struggle of infertility issues or for other reasons and could use a lot of support and behind the scene help.
We wish to ask for your help as we invite you to read Austin and Emma Packer’s story of infertility and their desire to bring another child into this world through IVF treatments and see how you might be able to bless them with any kind of donations or purchasing items from the available services listed. When it comes to babies, they are such a precious commodity,
that to create and love a child is more important than ever.
Their story– Austin and Emma were married in December of 2012. They were very excited to start a family and soon found that it was more of a challenge than they had expected.
After many failed attempts, they began IUI treatments. It took them 2 ½ years for their miracle baby, Bowen, to be born. Bowen is nearly 2 years old now. Normal chances of conception through IUI is 25%, but when you add male infertility factors, the percentage is only 6-10%. Gratefully Bowen miraculously came into their lives with these odds. How they looked forward to continuing to grow their family. Once they began the treatments for baby # 2, it has been a long road of many failed IUI attempts and many months with fertility doctors.
After many early morning appointments and new expensive medications, it seemed all to no avail. The doctors indicated that it was time to try the IVF treatments, that would cost about $15,000.
Even though their attempts for a second child have been unsuccessful thus far, they are not giving up and have great faith that the Lord will bring another child to their family.
Emma works as a registered OB/GYN nurse, and Austin is the Office Manager for Jackman Music at Platinum Sound Labs. Austin also teaches private cello lessons, and performs regularly at venues throughout Utah. They have both been putting in extra hours to help offset costs for the IUI and earning extra funds for possible IVF treatments.
We admire their love and great desire to have an eternal family and to be obedient to rearing the family the Lord has desired for them. They are so faithful and devoted to one another and to their sweet Bowen and are filled with such generosity and love for their extended family members and friends. They are always so willing to serve those close to them they feel grateful for the love and support they are recieving. They know that their family is not complete and feel they can’t put this new treatment off any longer!
They are most grateful for the love of family and friends and for their willingness to help in this funding initiative!
